Alborz Province Cultural Publishers Association is on the verge of official registration

Alireza Shaban, in an interview with the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Karaj, announced the first meeting for the establishment of this association and said: In this session, the backgrounds, objectives, and legal frameworks for establishing the association were thoroughly discussed, and attendees emphasized the necessity of forming a cohesive professional body to pursue the demands of Alborz province publishers.

Shaban, referring to the name and objectives of this professional association, stated: This association, titled “Alborz Province Cultural Publishers Association,” aims to organize, support, and synergize the capacities of the publishing sector in the province, as well as pursue issues and challenges facing publishers. It is on the verge of official and legal registration.

The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alborz Province Cultural Publishers Association discussed the results of the board of directors election, saying: At the end of this session, elections for the board of directors and inspectors were held, based on which Ms. Ramesh Norani Atashgah from Avaye Aramesh Publishing was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, I as the Vice Chairman, Mr. Kazem Paripaikar from Almas Alborz Publishing as the Secretary, and Ms. Neda Haffari Ghazi Jahani as the Treasurer.

He continued: Also, Ms. Zahra Salehi Jouzani from Jouzan Publishing, Mr. Amin Norani Atashgah from Sardar Amin Publishing, Ms. Seyedeh Masoumeh Shamsi from Shour Shahrzad Publishing, and Ms. Nahid Nazari from Najm Kobra Publishing were introduced as the main members of the board of directors. Mr. Khosro Nazari Maloumeh from Maloumeh Publishing and Ms. Nasim Abdi from Avaye Viana Publishing were selected as the first and second alternate members, respectively.

Shaban also mentioned the association’s inspectors: Ms. Sanaz Esfandiari from “Anik” Publishing was elected as the main inspector, and Ms. Sanaz Norani Atashgah from Dokhtaran Mah Publishing was elected as the alternate inspector.

He concluded by expressing hope: We hope that with the official registration of this association and with the efforts and cooperation of all members, we can take effective and lasting steps to strengthen the publishing community of Alborz province and ultimately develop and promote the culture of reading and books.
