“Book in Book” Unveiled
According to the reporter of Iran Book Agency (IBNA) in Arak, Iraj Ahmadi Hazaveh explained about this newly published work: What you read in this book is a selection of my writings from 2018 to 2024 about books by authors from Arak or authors who have written books related to Arak in some way.
He continued: I do not call the title of these writings “book critique,” because my goal was fundamentally not that. Although these writings sometimes approach criticism.
This author explained the process of criticism: In principle, criticism means reading the book carefully, introducing and examining it from different angles, including whether the author succeeded in relation to the book’s topic or not. The comprehensiveness or lack thereof, the writing style, documentation and references, books previously written on the same topic, and so on.
Ahmadi Hazaveh continued: In this regard, the first action is taking notes from the book under review. Throughout the years that I have read the reviewed books, I have consistently taken notes and benefited from these notes.
This author stated: One of the most important results of these notes and their publication is further introduction of the read books. Another exciting result was the reading of these books and the motivation to see the places these books were written about. Including a trip with Mr. Saeed Hosseinabadi and my son Mohammad Hossein to the village of Mohajeran Kambar after reading the book “Haj Akhund” by Ataollah Mohajerani, as well as a group trip with a number of writers to the village of Sarsakhti Olya after reading the book “Under the Oak Tree” by Jamshid Ethnaashari.
He noted: There are other travelogues in the book, including “Travelogue of Esfein Village” and “Travelogue of Ahu Village.” It is worth remembering that this book also refers to books like “Exir al-Tavarikh” and “Iran and the Case of Iran,” whose domain is not Arak and whose authors are not from Arak.
He concluded by saying: I hope these writings lead to further introduction of the read books and motivate the reader to read the introduced books.
The book “Book in Book” by Iraj Ahmadi Hazaveh consists of 39 chapters and 10 color photo pages across 400 pages and 500 copies, priced at 220,000 tomans, published by “Dehdeh” Publications in Arak and released to the book market.
