Art Transforms Human Achievements into Cultural Identity
According to the reporter of the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Rasht, a cultural meeting titled "In Search of the Blue Sky" was held at Farazmand Bookstore in Rasht. The event featured Alireza Esmaeilpour, a translator, editor, and author from Guilan, and focused on his understanding of the works he has translated and authored. Enthusiasts of history and literature attended the meeting.
Esmaeilpour stated at this meeting: Art and artistic works are the result of a set of factors that encompass all cultural, historical, and social dimensions, transforming human works and achievements into a cultural identity over time.
Referring to the importance of studying history, he emphasized that historical plays are significant because they create a sense of contemporaneity. He also noted that using the common language of that period and engaging with traditional clothing and music are effective in stabilizing historical work.

Esmaeilpour holds a PhD in Ancient Cultures and Languages from the University of Tehran and is a faculty member at the Linguistics Research Institute of the Research Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies. The courses he has taught include Shahnameh reading, methods for proper reading of Persian poetry texts, methods for proper reading of Persian prose texts, Indian mythology, and ancient Indian history.
Alireza Esmaeilpour graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Persian Language and Literature from Shahid Beheshti University (2007), a Master’s degree in Ancient Languages from the University of Tehran (2010), and a PhD in Ancient Languages from the University of Tehran (2016). His teaching record includes: "Iranian Culture and Literature" for Master’s students in Art Research at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran; "Zamyad Yasht," "Introduction to Sanskrit," and "Ancient Persian" for Master’s students in Ancient Cultures and Languages at the University of Tehran; "Introduction to Sanskrit 1," "Introduction to Sanskrit 2," "A Look at the Mahabharata," "Introduction to the Bhagavad Gita," "Ancient Indian History," "Indian Mythology," and "A Look at the Ramayana" at the Ajiar Ancient Languages Association; "A Look at the Art of Sanskrit Playwriting" at Pelikan Virtual School; "A Look at the Mahabharata," "A Look at the Ramayana," "Ancient Indian History," and "Indian Mythology" at Nimruz Institute; "Shahnameh Reading: Narration and Analysis" at Karnameh Institute.
His translated works include "In Praise of Joan of Arc" by Christine de Pizan (Mahi Publications) and "Shakuntala" by Kalidasa, translated from Sanskrit (Mahi Publications). His authored works include "Shگفت و بی شکست" (Ney Publications), "Housela Bahr" (performed as a play reading at Palestine Cinema), and "Dara, son of Farrokh: The Last Witness" (performed as a play reading at Palestine Cinema).
Esmaeilpour’s cultural records include being selected at the first national "Blue Window" festival (Rasht, March 2012) for the play "Kabus"; selected at the first international "Echo" playwriting festival (Tehran, Winter 2013) for the play "Shگفت و بی شکست"; winning first place at the first playwriting festival "Char-rah" organized by the Art Center (Tehran, March 2021) for the play "Shگفت و بی شکست"; and editing more than fifty books for Mahi Publications.
