15-Volume Set ‘Shahrazad; The Eastern Girl’ Published

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Mashhad, this collection, compiled under the supervision of Mohammad Reza Sarshar, recounts adventurous serial stories about the main characters named Shirzad, Mehrzad, and Shahrazad. The story begins with a summer trip to the sea and continues with entry into an unknown island, full of mysterious events, encounters with strange creatures, and solving puzzles.

This collection includes one long, integrated story. The story begins in its first volume titled “Island of Fish” and ends in the fifteenth volume “Glowworm Butterflies”.

“Amazing Amusement Park,” “Scientific Excursion on Fish Island,” “Red-Spotted Fish,” “Frightening Ghost,” “Letter of Wishes,” “Kind Dolphins,” “Waterfall of Stars,” “Father’s Day,” “Flight with Cranes,” “Magic Bean,” “Laughing Day,” “Circus on Fish Island,” “Secret of the Coastal City,” and “Glowworm Butterflies” are among the other volumes of this collection, written by Shirin Hamzeh, Fatemeh Fadaei, Masoumeh Arabkhani, Marzieh Shakeri, Azadeh Bahrami, Shideh Bahrami, Soheila Sardari, Roghieh Zakeri, Roghieh Mehri, and others.

Each volume of this collection has been published in 124 to 128 pages and short Quarto (Vaziri) format. To maintain visual unity for this collection, Ehsan Soleimani was responsible for the realistic and full-color illustration. The cover design was also done by Hamideh Soleimani.
