“Moments of Research” to be registered in Alborz public libraries

Ali Maadani-pour, in an interview with the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), announced the launch of the “Moments of Research” photography contest in public libraries. He stated that the contest aims to showcase the role of public libraries as active bases for research, study, and knowledge production.

Referring to the themes of the contest, he added that capturing moments of research, individual or group study, searching printed and digital resources, as well as focusing, note-taking, and interacting with knowledge within public libraries, are the main axes of this cultural event.

Maadani-pour emphasized that public libraries are not merely places for lending books. He stated: “Today, libraries have transformed into dynamic spaces for research, dialogue, and learning. The Moments of Research photography contest seeks to display this real and vibrant image to the audience.”

The Director General of Public Libraries of Alborz province explained how to participate in the contest: “Interested individuals can submit their works via the Bale messenger application to the number 09176414054.”

He invited citizens, photographers, and book lovers to participate in this cultural event, saying: “The deadline for submitting works is Sunday, January 1st, 2026, and we hope to witness extensive participation and the creation of impactful works from the research spaces in the province’s public libraries.”
