Houshang Moradi Kermani in hospital
According to Khabaronline News Agency, quoting ISNA, Hooman Moradi Kermani, son of Houshang Moradi Kermani, spoke about the condition of the veteran author and creator of “Majid’s Stories”: “My father had been fainting for some time. Initially, these incidents were infrequent, and we thought it was due to low blood sugar or blood pressure. However, in the recent week, the number of these fainting spells increased, and based on emergency diagnosis and consultation with his doctors, he was transferred to the hospital. Tests were performed to determine the source of the issue, which could be related to the brain or heart failure.”
He added: “They put a Holter monitor on him in the past two days. Today (Thursday, Azar 20th), an angiography was also performed, and they inserted a pacemaker in his heart.”
Hooman Moradi Kermani noted: “Thank God, my father’s condition is good, and he is currently in the intensive care unit. The doctor will examine him tomorrow to determine the continuation of treatment and when he can be discharged from the hospital.”
