Unveiling of the poster for the Razavi National Children and Youth Poetry Festival
According to the correspondent of the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Hamedan, the poster for the 16th Razavi National Children and Youth Poetry Festival was unveiled in Hamedan in the presence of Mehdi Ahmadi, senior advisor to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

Razavi National Festival is full of excitement and spiritual capacities
The senior advisor to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, at this ceremony, referred to the fact that composing religious poetry is a divine blessing, and said: God has placed this capacity in human beings to be able to move towards spiritual love and gravitate towards spiritual topics based on their expertise and concerns.
Mehdi Ahmadi, by explaining the characteristics of religious poetry, added: Poems attributed to the Imams (peace be upon them) can be considered examples of religious poetry, poetry that can be examined both in terms of rituals and knowledge.
He continued: In terms of rituals, the poet addresses events related to the virtues and conduct of the infallibles, and in terms of knowledge, tries to go beyond the appearance of rituals and reach the depth of knowledge and meaning.
The head of the artistic affairs department of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance emphasized that religious poetry moves humans from ‘being’ to ‘becoming’.
The senior advisor to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance also, referring to the importance of social vitality, said: Today’s society needs joy and hope, and religious poetry can be effective in creating this vitality while honoring values.
Ahmadi stated: In religious poetry, one should not be content only with rituals, but should go beyond them and direct the audience towards knowledge.
He emphasized: Spiritual teachings can be conveyed to people through literary taste in the form of poetry, because words leave deep psychological effects on the audience.
Hamedan becomes the pilot city for the Children and Youth Festival
The Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hamedan province also continued the ceremony by referring to the leadership of this festival by the head of the artistic affairs department of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, added: Hamedan, due to its outstanding cultural and tourism capacities and the presence of famous poets in the field of children and youth such as Master Mohaghegh and Rahmandoust, has been selected as the pilot for the children and youth section of the Razavi festivals.
Seyed Mohammad Reza Javadi announced the holding of the 22nd Razavi National Festival and said: This festival is held in various thematic sections, and provinces take responsibility for different sections based on their cultural and artistic capacities.
He continued: Hamedan province has significant experience and capability in the field of children and youth, from theater and poetry to film and specialized cultural activities, and this year, the 16th round of specialized children and youth programs focused on poetry language is being held, for which the call for entries has been published and numerous works have been submitted to the secretariat.
Javadi, stating that this year Hamedan province has also been entrusted with hosting the national poetry festival ‘Ayat and Narrations’ by the national Quran center, clarified: This event has high importance alongside the Razavi festival, and holding these two festivals close together not only does not diminish their value but also strengthens the cultural movement of children and youth in the province.
The Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hamedan considered the role of the house of poetry and literature and literary associations of the province effective in the continuity and dynamism of Persian literature, and emphasized: These complexes are powerful arms for the development of literary and cultural activities, especially in the field of children and youth.
