A rural library opened in Shahroud
Saeed Dehghanloo, in an interview with the correspondent of the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Shahroud, announced the opening of a rural library in Shahroud County and stated: This library has been put into operation in Ahmadabad Khartouran village, Biarjmand district of Shahroud County.
He added that this library was inaugurated in a formal ceremony with the presence of provincial and county officials in Biarjmand, Shahroud County, emphasizing that the construction of this library was pursued as a demand, considering the cultural fabric and the many enthusiasts for reading in this region.
The Director General of Public Libraries of Semnan Province also stated that this library was built at the personal expense of a deceased philanthropist in this village, adding: The goal of building, launching, and equipping this public library is to develop equity in access to books and promote reading culture.
Dehghanloo added that this library has been named after Mowlana Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), and: This building has an area of 125 square meters and will also be used by neighboring villages, as Ahmadabad village effectively serves as a center for a group of villages in the Khartouran region.
He added that one billion Tomans have been spent on the construction of this library, and: Ahmadabad Khartouran village in Biarjmand district is considered one of the cultural and reading hubs in Semnan Province and Shahroud County, where there are many enthusiasts in this region.
