Unveiling of the book ‘The Royal Tomb of Ziwiye and Scythian Art’

According to the reporter of Iran’s Book News Agency (IBNA), the unveiling ceremony for the book ‘The Royal Tomb of Ziwiye and Scythian Art’ will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the National Museum of Iran. This program will be attended by a group of researchers, university professors, and managers from the cultural heritage sector.

At this ceremony, Jebraeil Nokandeh, Director General of the National Museum of Iran; Mohammad Ebrahim Zare, Head of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Research Institute; Abbas Abdi, faculty member of Shahid Beheshti University; Pouya Talebian, Deputy of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Kurdistan Province; Morad Malekzadeh, faculty member of the Archeology Research Institute; Yousef Hasanzadeh, faculty member of Shahid Beheshti University; Yousef Mohammadzadeh, advisor to the Head of Research at the National Museum of Iran; and Mohammad Mahdi Amirghami, editor-in-chief of the History and Archeology Group at the House of Thinkers, will deliver speeches.

The book ‘The Royal Tomb of Ziwiye and Scythian Art’ examines one of the most important archaeological findings in northwest Iran and aspects of Scythian art. Farhang Publications will sell history and archaeology books with a 20% discount to mark the publication of this book.

The unveiling ceremony will take place in the conference hall of the Museum of Islamic Era, located within the National Museum of Iran, at 2:30 PM.
