A Night with a Book to be Held at Tehran Cultural Center

According to Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the “A Night with a Book” ceremony will be held with the presence of Shahed Peyvand, writer and researcher, and the unveiling of his latest work titled “Street Theater, Theater Beyond Walls”.

Shahed Peyvand is a well-known activist in the field of performing arts, a theater lecturer, a researcher of contemporary arts, and the author of several articles and research works in the field of social and urban theater. He has been active for years in street performance, theater education, and the production of cultural works, and has also served as a judge and expert in various art festivals.

The book “Street Theater, Theater Beyond Walls” is a research and practical work that addresses the role of street theater in social interaction, awareness, and the recreation of human relationships. This book, with a novel approach, examines the history, techniques, and capacities of street theater, introducing it as a free, dynamic, and popular art; an art that has surpassed the boundaries of the classical stage and entered the fabric of people’s lives.
