Saeed Kamyabi, the author of this book, in an interview with a correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Semnan announced: The main goal of the book is to collect and analyze information related to the religious and cultural status of different areas of Semnan Province.

Kamyabi by stating that identifying the capacities, shortcomings, attitudes, and different tendencies of the residents of Semnan Province is the main axis of this book emphasized: this study is organized into seven sections and is expected to be published and uploaded soon on the information base of the Research Vice-Chancellor of Seminaries.

Saeed Kamyabi is a full professor at the Tourism Research Center of Islamic Azad University, Semnan branch, and the cultural and student vice-chancellor of this university unit.

He also has eight written works and two translations in his academic resume.

A section of this book states: ‘Cultural geography examines the two-way relationship between geography and culture and shows how environment and human culture influence each other. The present book, with a descriptive-analytical approach, has tried to provide a coherent picture of the ecological, religious, and cultural characteristics of Semnan Province. Accurate knowledge of the cultural, social, economic, and religious conditions of each region is essential for planning, policymaking, budget allocation, and cultural interaction; because disregard for the cultural-religious diversity of regions can lead to errors in decision-making.’
