More than 20,000 book volumes sold at Kish exhibition
According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, Davood Radmand, expressing satisfaction with the visits and sales at the sixth Kish Island Book Fair, stated: By the end of the fifth day, more than 20,000 book volumes were sold at the Kish exhibition.
The executive secretary of the Kish Book Fair said: This volume of purchases indicates the level of interest and reception for books and reading, which is commendable in its kind.
Radmand also stated: The most interest from visitors was in children’s and young adult books. After that, audiences showed the most attention to general literature books in fiction, novels, psychology, and management.
Referring to the free services, he said: Free public transport for Kish residents to visit the book fair is available from four points: Sadaf, Safin, Bonyad, and Nowbonyad, departing at 18:00 and 19:00, and returning at 21:00 and 22:00.
According to IBNA, the sixth Kish Book Fair, from November 22nd to 30th, 2025, welcomes students every morning from 9:00 to 13:30, and in the afternoon from 16:00 to 22:00, it hosts the general public of Kish, guests, and the reading community.
