Widespread participation in the Nahj al-Balagha conference of Semnan Police Force; over 600 works in five fields reached the secretariat.

According to KhabarOnline News Agency, Semnan Province, Hojjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Qasem Norouzpour, in a press conference with reporters, added: “This conference is held with the aim of promoting Alavi teachings and operationalizing the lessons of Nahj al-Balagha among police personnel, families, and various segments of society.”

The head of the Ideological-Political Department of the Semnan Provincial Police Command, referring to the implementation of the Nahj al-Balagha promotional plan in all police units of the province, stated: “In this plan, a collection of short wisdoms and sermons from Nahj al-Balagha has been provided to employees so that, in addition to memorizing them, they can also be used in decision-making and service behaviors.”

He added: “This program has been implemented in all police stations with the support of the Command and cooperation of the Propaganda Office, and a smooth translation of Nahj al-Balagha has also been distributed for the benefit of the personnel.”

The head of the Ideological-Political Department of the Semnan Provincial Police Command, stating that Imam Ali’s (PBUH) command to Malik Ashtar is an enduring model for managers throughout history, said: “Alongside Nahj al-Balagha training, specific religious rulings appropriate to the specialized missions of the police in the fields of Criminal Investigation (Agahi), Traffic Police (Rahvar), and Quarantine units have also been compiled and taught, so that every officer possesses the necessary religious knowledge in their area of service.”

Norouzpour, referring to the holding of the first specialized Nahj al-Balagha police conference in Semnan Province, stated: “So far, more than 600 works in five fields – short film, essay writing, poetry, anthem, and painting – have been submitted to the secretariat from across the province. After judging, 20 top works will advance to the national stage.”

He mentioned the themes of this conference as ‘The position of Nahj al-Balagha in Islamic teachings and the conduct of elders and martyrs,’ ‘Functions of promoting Nahj al-Balagha in enhancing the organizational culture of FARAJA,’ ‘The model of management and command for the revolutionary police according to Nahj al-Balagha,’ and ‘Strategies for promoting the culture of Nahj al-Balagha within the police force.’

The head of the Ideological-Political Department of the Semnan Provincial Police Command stated: ‘Works related to Police-public social interaction, Enhancing religious and revolutionary insight, and Approaches to ensuring security in light of Alavi teachings are also among the themes of this conference.’

He emphasized the importance of familiarity with the Quran and Nahj al-Balagha, stating: ‘Just as food affects the body without understanding its compounds, the recitation of the Quran also leaves its educational and spiritual effects, even without a complete understanding of its concepts.’
