Visit of 6,000 People to the Qazvin Children and Young Adults Book Exhibition
According to Khabar Online news agency from Qazvin; Seyed Ali Akbar Mousavi, the Director General of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults of Qazvin Province, announced this news and stated: The fourth specialized Children and Young Adults Book Exhibition was held at the Cultural and Artistic Complex of the Institute with the slogan ‘Let’s Read for Iran’ during Book Week of 2025 (1404 in Persian calendar). Over 6,000 people visited this exhibition at the Institute’s complex in Qazvin Province.
He added: Over 50,000 books and educational games were offered at this exhibition, and reputable publishers including Sayeh Gostar Publications, Mehrgan Danesh, Park, Dr. Seen, Azarmidokht, Sham’avid, and Panjom Ordibehesht from Qazvin Province, Ketabak Publications from Qom, Fanoos Danesh Publications, Imam Mahdi (AS) Foundation, and the Institute from Tehran Province were present.
Seyed Ali Akbar Mousavi, the Director General of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults of Qazvin Province, noted: This exhibition welcomed visitors from November 14 to 20 (Aban 24 to 30) and the General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the General Directorate of Education, IRIB, and the Cultural Association of Qazvin Publishers cooperated in holding this exhibition.
Seyed Ali Akbar Mousavi stated: The book-play ‘Kalaq Khenzar Penzeri’ (The Junk Crow) by the Institute’s Theater House, a scientific program at the Astronomy House, a science and biology workshop, and a rhythm and game performance were held as side programs of this exhibition specifically for students.
Seyed Ali Akbar Mousavi, the Director General of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults of Qazvin Province, said: During Book Week, over 2,300 visitors including students and families (in a special free performance) benefited from the theatrical section, and over 1,200 students benefited from the science and astronomy workshops of this exhibition.
Seyed Ali Akbar Mousavi emphasized: Creating an opportunity to choose ‘suitable books’ for children by offering a variety of book topics and titles, and fostering greater familiarity with books among families were other objectives of this exhibition.
