Maryam Nazaraghaei, the poet of this work, told the reporter of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Shiraz: “Rain is a metaphor for life for me. For me, rain has no beginning or end; just like poetry. My poems are pieces of rain that have settled in the heart, sometimes turning into a short cry and sometimes into a calm light. In this collection, each piece is a sign of a step taken under the rain; a journey amidst touches and glances that are still alive in the dampness of memory.”

This poet was born in Eqlid county and started writing in her youth. In 2002 (1381 SH) during high school, she was among the winners in a national competition with her book “The Incomplete Story”. Her previous work, “Autumn of the Garden in Spring”, was published in 2024 (1403 SH). Her new collection, in free prose and free verse poetry, continues the same emotional world that flows through her previous works.

Keramat Yazdani (Ashk), the editor and publisher of this book, also spoke to an IBNA reporter about the intellectual and poetic atmosphere of the work, emphasizing: “Free verse poetry originates from the free breath of words; neither bound by weight and rhyme, nor limited to common forms. In this book, language accompanies the poet’s heart and eyes; sometimes a short drop settles on the shore of the soul, and sometimes, like a calm river, it flows from its source to the sea of meaning.”

The managing director of Pars Writers Publications continued: “In ‘To the End of the Rain’, we accompany the poet to walk in the rain of words. Each poem is a window to new horizons of feeling. Therefore, we consider this collection not only a literary work but also a spiritual experience of words flowing; a path that has no defined beginning or end, and each poem within it is a continuation of another. We aim to publish the thoughts and pens of writers and poets of this land across Iran and the world.”

The poetry collection “To the End of the Rain”, authored by Maryam Nazaraghaei (Sayeh), a poet and writer from Marvdasht, Fars, and edited by Keramat Yazdani (Ashk), was published in a quarto format (paperback), 150 pages, on the 1st of Azar (November 22) by Pars Writers Publications.
