Despite not residing in the province, Bita Qalandar has managed to provide a deep understanding and a captivating interpretation of the culture, geography, and atmosphere of the Qasr-e Qand region.’

At the end of the ceremony, Bita Qalandar, the author of the book ‘Qasr-e Qand,’ was honored with a plaque of appreciation and gifts from the organizers for creating a lasting work about this land.

The book ‘Qasr-e Qand,’ written by Bita Qalandar, is the first long novel by this Baluchi author and translator, published in 1404 (Persian calendar) by Cheshmeh Publishing House. The story of this novel takes place in southeastern Iran, in the Baluchestan region, and vividly and simply depicts the lives of people grappling with untamed nature and devastating floods. The narrative oscillates between reality and myth, with its events unfolding in a city called Qasr-e Qand, where nature, humanity, and destiny are intertwined.

A review and discussion session for this novel will be held in Qasr-e Qand in the coming months.
