Eight Children and Young Adult Authors of Hormozgan Were Honored

According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Bandar Abbas, eight authors whose works were published last year were introduced during an event to introduce children and young adult authors, organized by the literary circle ‘Aftab’ and supported by the Seyed Ahmad Khomeini Public Library of Bandar Abbas.

Each of these authors played a role in the formation of the books, participating as writers, compilers, illustrators, and translators in these published books.

Amyar Foroutan Rad, translator of the book ‘Self-Compassion for Children’, Kavian Mirhosseini, author of the book ‘Bird, Cleaner, and My World’, Somita Vala, illustrator of the Arabic version of the book ‘Boynt’, and Sam Keshavarz, illustrator of the book ‘Pioneers’, were honored in the first part of this ceremony.

In the second part of the ceremony for introducing and appreciating children and young adult authors, Aylin Dastfal, author of the book ‘Four Crows’, Hasti Naseri Zadeh, author of the book ‘We Return Towards the Sun’, Aida Eskandari, compiler and researcher of the book ‘Let’s Be One Candle and One Butterfly’, and Avid Shayesteh, illustrator of the book ‘Haproos’, were honored.

According to IBNA, in addition to ‘Somita’ Publications, a certificate of appreciation was presented to these authors by Anoushiravan Pishdar, Director General of Public Libraries of Hormozgan Province.
