Appreciation of 24 Top Librarians, Readers, and Book Supporters in Sistan and Baluchestan
According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Zahedan, the ceremony commemorating Book, Reading, and Librarian Day was held on November 19, with the presence of several senior provincial officials.
In this ceremony, attended by Fada Hossein Maleki, Member of Parliament; Farhad Shahraki, Member of Parliament; Zhila Mirmoradzehi, Director General of Women’s Affairs of the Governorate; Mehdi Jahantab, Director General of Public Libraries of the Province; Elaheh Zaker, Director of the Document Center and Director General of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults; librarians, philanthropists, book sector activists, and media representatives, 14 top librarians and book-reading supporters and 10 top readers in the province were honored.
