According to KhabarOnline News Agency, quoting the news headquarters, Amir Hajrezaei, a former player and coach and veteran football expert, on the occasion of the 33rd Iran Book Week, in response to the question ‘What exact role do books play in your life?’, said: ‘I myself am addicted to reading. Even on personal trips, next to my toothbrush, clothes, and razor, I definitely take two books with me. I feel like I have lost something; something is missing, and the more I read, the more I feel that I know nothing and must go further.’

He continued: ‘For me, literature and books are a refuge. I have a limited life, but I have created an opportunity for myself not to miss out on books. I might even forgo some daily expenses, but I will definitely buy books, because they give me strength and power.’

The 33rd Iran Book Week, with the slogan ‘Let’s Read for Iran’, began on Saturday, November 15, 2025, and will continue until November 21.
