Four Hamedan Authors Selected for Hamedan Province Book of the Year Award

According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Hamedan, in the fifth round of the Hamedan Province Book of the Year Award, works were evaluated and judged in ten subject categories and the children and young adult group.

In this round, a total of 299 titles were evaluated. After the first round of judging, 28 titles advanced to the second stage. From these, after precise and scientific evaluation of each work by at least two judges, four titles were selected as ‘winners’ and 14 titles received ‘commendation’.

In the Religious Books and Mysticism Section

  • The book “Dua in the Valley of Divine Decree and Destiny: A Comparative Analysis of Ibn Arabi’s Thought and Sharia on Dua and Divine Decree and Destiny,” authored by Hadi Torkamani
  • The book “Manifestation of Beauty: A Comparative Study of the Interpretation of Wajh Allah in Mystical Texts and Narratives of the Infallible Imams (AS),” authored by Abolfazl Tavassolizadeh

In the History and Geography Section

  • The book “Endowments in Hamedan during the Ilkhanid and Safavid Eras,” authored by Khosrow Mohammadi, with an introduction by Hassan Karimian
