Radio Play “The Awakener of Khawaran” Narrates the Life of Iqbal Lahori

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), “The Awakener of Khawaran” presents a dramatic narrative of the life and legacy of Iqbal Lahori. Iqbal’s intense interest in Iranian culture has led some nationalists to call him “the most Iranian non-Iranian” or “the Ferdowsi from beyond the borders.”

This program, produced by Mahdieh Taghizadeh and directed by Mehdi Namini Moghaddam, will air daily at 12:30 AM; repeats will be the next day at 7 AM and 4:30 PM. The program’s editor is Ayyoub Aghakhani, its writer is Mahsa Pirouzfar, the effector is Mohammad Reza Ghabadifar, and the sound engineer is Mohammad Reza Mohtashami.
