30 Writers and Poets Attend Kanoon Centers in Tehran During Book Week

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), in this special program, which will be held in Tehran and various cities across Tehran Province, writers and poets such as Kobra Babaei, Mahmoud Barabadi, Azam Bozorgi, Mohammad Reza Shams, Babak Niktalab, Shahram Shafiei, Majid Rasti, Abbas Naseri, Afsaneh Shabannejad, Abbas Ghadir Mohseni, Mohammad Mirkiyani, Mojgan Babamarandi, Mohammad Goudarzi Dehrizi, Majid Amigh, Zohreh Parirakh, Parviz Amini, Sarvar Ketabi, Marzieh Tolou Asl, Farzaneh Mansouri (Nader Ebrahimi’s wife), and Jamaluddin Akrami will host children and young adults.

These meetings are held with the aim of promoting reading culture, creating motivation among Kanoon members, and providing a platform for direct dialogue with writers.

The 33rd edition of Iran’s Book Week, with the slogan “Let’s Read for Iran,” will be held nationwide from November 14th to 20th, 2025. Coinciding with this national event, the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (Kanoon) has also prepared various cultural programs to strengthen reading culture among children and young adults.
