Allocation of 2,000 square meters of land for library construction in Garmsar
Ali Hemmati, in an interview with the correspondent of the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Garmsar, announced the allocation of two thousand square meters of land for the construction of a library in Garmsar city. He stated that the construction of a standard library, befitting the book-loving people of Garmsar county, was a public demand.
He added that there is a need for a suitable library to be built in this county, and fortunately, through follow-ups, the issue of land provision for this complex has been resolved.
The Governor of Garmsar stated that the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new county library will take place soon. He expressed hope that they will witness the rapid construction of this library and that this complex will soon be available to the people of Garmsar county, especially teenagers, youth, students, and university students.
Hemmati added that the construction of this library is good news for the book-reading people of Garmsar and also for those who have been pursuing this matter for years. He stated that the construction of this library will enrich the cultural wealth of Garmsar.
He emphasized that increasing public awareness is among the issues that can be achieved through books. He stated that for awareness, study and reading are necessities, and the responsibility of officials in this path is to provide the necessary infrastructure for reading.
