Deadline for submitting works to the Third National Ghazal Biennial ‘Hossein Monzavi’ Extended

Hassan Pakzad, in an interview with Mehr reporter, stated that due to the remarkable reception from poets, the deadline for submitting works to the Third National Ghazal Biennial ‘Hossein Monzavi’ has been extended until November 14. He added that, due to the unprecedented reception from poets and repeated requests, the policy-making council decided to extend the submission period until November 14.

The executive secretary of the Third National Ghazal Biennial ‘Hossein Monzavi’ urged poets to submit their works on time and not to postpone registration until the final days.

Pakzad further referred to the judging process and said: ‘Preliminary judging will take place after the registration deadline. We also ask poets who have participated in the book section to send their books to the secretariat address via express post after registering on the system.’

The executive secretary of the Hossein Monzavi Ghazal Biennial also announced the official naming of the scientific secretary for this event next week, adding: The names of the judges and preliminary judges will be announced on the official award website at festivalzanjan.ir after the judging process is complete.

Pakzad, while thanking the Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Zanjan Province, participants, and media, noted that Hossein Monzavi holds a high position in contemporary ghazal, and the unprecedented reception from poets is evidence of this. We plan to hold the final ceremony of this major event on December 10th and 11th in Zanjan.
