Unveiling of a book endorsed by the Supreme Leader in Hamadan

According to Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Hamadan, Mehdi Karimi, Director General of Public Libraries of Hamadan Province, met and discussed with Brigadier General Hossein Zarekamali, Commander of Ansar al-Hussein (AS) Corps of Hamadan Province.

The Commander of Ansar al-Hussein (AS) Corps of Hamadan, referring to the differences between today’s generation and the past, stated: “Yesterday’s generation eagerly turned to books and reading, but today with the advent of cyberspace, this interest has faded.”

Hossein Zarekamali said: “If we want to revive the culture of reading in society, we must understand the taste of young people and consider their preferences in phrasing, imagery, and content production; authors and publishers must also be aware of this matter.”

The Director General of Public Libraries of Hamadan Province, emphasizing his department’s readiness to cooperate with Basij and IRGC collections, said: “We are Basiji and are ready to cooperate in any field related to the publication of Holy Defense books, Basij, and IRGC.”

Mehdi Karimi also stated: “In this regard, we will exert all our efforts in Basij bases for holding book reading competitions.”

He also announced the unveiling of three books in the field of Holy Defense, endorsed by the Supreme Leader, in the coming months, adding: “One of these works is related to Martyr Ghahari Saeed, and we are honored that its unveiling ceremony will be held in Hamadan province.”
