Holding an introductory session for the book ‘The Companion of Fire and Snow’ in Kermanshah
According to Mehr reporter, on Wednesday afternoon, a group of cultural activists, officials, and writers from Kermanshah gathered at Amirkabir Public Library to introduce the book “The Companion of Fire and Snow” to the province’s cultural community in a specialized session and to once again keep alive the memory of the exalted martyr Saeed Qahari-Sa’eed by explaining the content of the work.
This ceremony was organized by the General Directorate of Public Libraries of Kermanshah Province with the aim of promoting the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom and expanding literature of steadfastness, and it began in a spiritual atmosphere full of the memory of martyrs. The late Ahmad Azizi Hall, named after one of the greatest contemporary literary and revolutionary figures, hosted this cultural and literary program.
Prominent cultural and revolutionary figures of the province were present at this event, including Parisa Mohammadi, Director General of Public Libraries of Kermanshah Province; Younes Azizi, Director General of the Foundation for the Preservation of Works and Publication of Sacred Defense Values; Mozaffar Teimouri, Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Province; Afshin Azadi, Head of the Basij Artists Organization; and Colonel Saeed Beheshtirad, Deputy Coordinator of the Kermanshah Corps District. Also, a group of cultural activists, writers, poets, researchers, and librarians attended this session to pay respect to Martyr Qahari-Sa’eed and to analyze and discuss the content of the book.
The book “The Companion of Fire and Snow,” which is an honest and profound narrative of the life and jihadi path of the great martyr Saeed Qahari-Sa’eed, has been published with the aim of narrating the militant lifestyle and spiritual conduct of this Kermanshah martyr and has attracted the attention of the province’s cultural community. In this session, there was also talk about the importance of documenting and narrating the lives of martyrs, the role of producing written works in transmitting the culture of sacrifice to new generations, and the necessity of supporting writers in the field of Sacred Defense.
Attendees at this program, while referring to Martyr Qahari-Sa’eed’s status as a model of ethics, faith, and struggle, emphasized that introducing such books plays a significant role in revitalizing national identity, strengthening the cultural foundations of society, and connecting the current generation with the ideals of the revolution and martyrs. The session concluded with an honoring of writers and activists in the field of books and an open discussion among participants about strategies for expanding the production of valuable works in the field of steadfastness literature.
