A book reading competition from the book “Khomreh” will be held in Semnan province

According to the Khabar Online news agency in Semnan province, Hossein Shourani announced that a reading competition for the book “Khomreh” by Houshang Moradi Kermani will be held to promote the culture of reading, familiarize children, adolescents, and families with the works of this prominent Iranian author, and create social excitement.

The acting director-general of Public Libraries of Semnan province, referring to the selection of this book for the competition, said: “The book ‘Khomreh’ addresses the problems of a rural school with a humorous perspective and has earned many national and international honors for its author.”

He stated: “Those interested in participating can visit public libraries across the province to borrow ‘Khomreh’ and answer the questions at the end of the book.”

Shourani added: “The deadline for participation in this reading competition is June 20th.”
