The cultural reporter of Mehr News Agency announced that the book “Emāh,” a novel by Maryam Barati, has been selected as the subject for the seventh season of the “Book and Life” national reading campaign.

Fariba Eftekhari, the director of the Book and Reading Network and the secretary of the “Book and Life” campaign, stated that the seventh season of this campaign has officially begun with the novel “Emāh.” She added that this novel, penned by Maryam Barati and published by Mehrtal Publishers, is an engaging narrative that delves into social issues, family relationships, and personal struggles, presenting them in a new light.

Eftekhari further mentioned that “Emāh” has received several accolades, including the 16th Holy Defense Book of the Year award, and has been well-received by readers and critics alike. She emphasized that the “Book and Life” campaign aims to foster a culture of reading across the nation by introducing valuable books and organizing various related programs and competitions.

The campaign invites interested individuals to participate in the reading competition by reading the novel “Emāh” and answering questions through the campaign’s dedicated portal. Prizes will be awarded to top participants.
