Farhangestan Published a New Volume of the History of Iranian Press
The “Academy of Persian Language and Literature” (Farhangestan for short) announced that the ninth volume of the valuable collection “History of Iranian Press” has been published and released to the book market. This collection, which began many years ago, comprehensively examines the history of journalism and publications in Iran.
Dr. Gholamali Haddad Adel, head of the Academy, stated at the unveiling ceremony of this volume: “The publication of this collection is an important step in preserving and explaining the country’s cultural and media heritage. Each volume addresses a specific period in the history of the press and provides accurate and documented information.”
He added: “This ninth volume focuses on important journalistic events and developments between the years 1332 and 1342 Solar Hijri.”
This book has been published by Farhangestan’s own publishing house and is available to interested parties in reputable bookstores across the country. The new volume includes in-depth analyses, historical photographs, and rarely seen documents, which can be very useful for researchers and students of press history.
