Hemmati Far: Major Book Reading Competition for Teenagers in Khorasan Razavi
Mashhad – Hossein Hemmati Far, the Deputy for User Affairs and Cultural Cooperation of the Khorasan Razavi Public Libraries Foundation, announced the launch of a major book-reading competition for teenagers.
In an interview with a Mehr News Agency correspondent, he stated: “The book-reading competition titled ‘Himmat-e Javan, Kitab-e Khuban’ (Effort of the Youth, Book of the Good) will be held with the participation of teenage members of the province’s public libraries.”
The Deputy for User Affairs and Cultural Cooperation of the Khorasan Razavi Public Libraries Foundation added: “The primary goal of this competition is to promote the culture of reading and book-centered discussions among the adolescent demographic.”
He continued: “In this competition, in addition to introducing notable books in the teenage category, we aim to familiarize this age group with methods of summarizing and reviewing books.”
Hemmati Far noted: “Further details of this major competition will be announced in the coming days through provincial media and social networks.”
