More than 1200 Works Submitted to the Third National Shukarestan Literary Festival
The secretariat of the Third National Shukarestan Literary Festival announced that more than 1200 works have been submitted to this year’s event. This significant participation highlights the growing interest and engagement in literary arts across the nation.
Hossein Rezaei, the festival secretary, stated in an interview that the received works cover a wide range of literary forms, including short stories, poetry, and literary criticism. He expressed satisfaction with the quality and diversity of the submissions, noting that the selection process will be meticulous to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
Rezaei emphasized that the Shukarestan Literary Festival aims to identify and nurture new literary talents, promote Persian literature, and foster a vibrant literary community. He added that workshops and expert panels are also planned as part of the festival’s supplementary programs.
The judging panel, comprising prominent literary figures and scholars, has begun the initial review phase. The festival’s organizing committee anticipates announcing the shortlisted works in the coming weeks, followed by the grand closing ceremony where the winners will be honored.
