Ten Interviews with Forough Farrokhzad in a Book

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), this book compiles interviews conducted with Forough Farrokhzad over various years and on different occasions. The book includes interviews carried out by Hassan Honarmandi, Mahmoud Moshref Azad (M. Azad), Sirous Tahbaz, Gholamhossein Saedi, Mohammad Taghi Salehpour, Sadruddin Elahi, Farajollah Saba, Iraj Gorgin, Bernardo Bertolucci, and an unnamed reporter from ‘Roshanfekr’ magazine with Forough Farrokhzad. In these interviews, topics such as Forough’s poetry, contemporary poetry, Forough’s worldview, the documentary film ‘The House Is Black,’ and the status of Forough’s contemporary poets are discussed.

This work can be considered the most explicit and transparent book that presents Forough’s thoughts and beliefs directly to the reader, without any intermediaries. This collection of interviews was compiled by Leila Kordbacheh, transcribed and edited by Afsaneh Goodarzi, and its cover was designed by Alireza Tayebi.

“Ten Interviews, Forough Farrokhzad” was recently released by Vaj Publishing in 160 pages.
