Review of ‘Death of a Salesman’ by Arthur Miller on Radio Namayesh

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), ‘Death of a Salesman’ tells the story of an elderly man in America named Willy Loman who worked as a salesman for years in a company. He believed he had been successful during this time and managed to gain many customers in different cities. Now that he has reached retirement age, he no longer has the ability to work as he once did. Contrary to his expectations, the salary he receives is insufficient to live on or even meet many of his basic needs and those of his family.

‘Book Pulse’ will analyze the achievements and philosophical and psychological impacts of this play on American society with an expert perspective.

The program will also broadcast parts of a radio adaptation of the play directed by Nader Borhani Marand, featuring actors from the General Department of Radio Dramatic Arts.

Pezhman Dadkhah and Majid Heidari are the experts for the ‘Book Pulse’ program and are responsible for the psychological and philosophical analysis of the dramatic works. Hamzeh Ali Mohammadi serves as the program producer.
