Two plays translated by Hamid Amjad entered the book market
According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), “Trip Tarantino” by Seth Kramer, a short comedy play, is a parody of Quentin Tarantino’s cinema and a joke on his familiar elements such as violence, guns, street language, professional killers, and the dynamics of criminal gangs. It focuses most prominently on the final scene of his first feature film, Reservoir Dogs, which is a three-way duel between professional killers.
“Best Papa” by Shel Silverstein is another book published by Nila Press. Silverstein was an American poet, author, cartoonist, and singer who died in 1999. Although Silverstein is known as a children’s poet and author, his works are also very much loved and popular among adults.
These two books have been published in the “Little Book” series by Nila Publications.
