The books ‘Open Society…’ and ‘Art and Psyche’ were released to the market
The director of Nikan Publishing said today in an interview with a reporter from the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Ardabil: The book ‘Open Society…; an abridgment of the book ‘The Open Society and Its Enemies” has been abridged by Vahid Vahedi. This work has been prepared with the aim of better introducing ‘The Open Society and Its Enemies’ and also to facilitate its study.
Za’far Ahadzadeh stated: In the first part of this book, information related to the philosophers examined in the book has been compiled, and in the second part, a summary of this book, titled ‘Open Society…’, is presented.
He added: The book ‘Art and Psyche; A Bond for Living’ has also been authored by Tahereh Bapirzadeh and Adib Bapirzadeh, which attempts to explore the various effects of art on the human psyche with a scientific and practical approach, and to present its applications in therapeutic and educational fields.
The director of Nikan Publishing continued: A section of this book states: ‘From ancient times, art has been regarded not only as a means of expressing creativity and aesthetics but also as a tool for human psychological and emotional experiences. Modern psychology, with numerous scientific findings, has shown that artistic activities can play a significant role in promoting mental health, reducing anxiety and depression, and strengthening social and emotional skills. Art, through its ability to create a link between mental and emotional experiences with external expression, provides an opportunity to examine and reconstruct feelings in a safe and creative environment.’
According to Ahadzadeh, the five sections of this book, including music therapy, art therapy, drama therapy, film therapy, and storytelling therapy, are arranged based on new studies and empirical evidence to provide a suitable practical guide for psychologists, counselors, and students, in addition to theoretical knowledge.
He added: The ultimate goal of this book is to demonstrate the fact that art is not merely a means of beauty and entertainment, but rather a scientific and effective tool for mental health and personal growth. Art enables humans not only to understand themselves better but also to establish more effective communication with their social environment and to take steps towards psychological improvement and excellence.
The book ‘Art and Psyche; A Bond for Living’ in 220 pages and the book ‘Open Society’ in 142 pages were published by Nikan Publishing this Azar (December) this year.
