Poetry Writing Workshop Held at Semnan Central Library
According to the reporter of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Semnan, the ‘Poetry Writing’ workshop was held on Thursday morning with the presence of Gholamreza Tarighi, a ghazal poet and Deputy of Poetry and Fictional Literature of the Iran Book and Literature House.
In this educational workshop, form, language, as well as imagery and content in poetry, especially ghazal, were discussed. Also, a group of poets from Neyestan Literary Circle and young people interested in the field of Persian poetry and literature attended.
During this workshop, poets first recited their poems, and then Gholamreza Tarighi critically reviewed the poems.
Gholamreza Tarighi, in a short speech at this workshop, called for the continuation of such sessions and said: “Artistic associations, especially poetic and writing circles, play an important role in the growth and development of local talents in our country’s cities.”
Tarighi asked artists to ensure their sessions are continuous and of high quality, and to use public libraries as venues for their meetings, stating: “By doing this, we can also help promote public libraries.”
At the end of this meeting, Tarighi visited various sections of Semnan Public Library.
