Poetry Book on Gaza Topic to be Published / Publication of ‘Pearl Palm’ in Hamadan

According to the correspondent of Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Hamadan, Mohsen Seifikar, speaking to reporters on Monday morning, stated that a poetry book on the topic of Gaza is being prepared. He added: Three books have been compiled in collaboration with the Hamadan Art Center, including «Paparoo», specifically for preschoolers and first and second-grade elementary students, which is a gentle and delicate story about war, referring to the life of martyr Dehghan.

Referring to the book «Orange or Grenade?» which is for teenagers, he added: This book is about two martyr cousins, Masoud and Hashem Rostami, and is illustrated and written by Maryam Kowsari.

This writer of resistance literature said: The book «Shawl and Friendship» is intended for young adult readers and tells a famous story among Hamadan’s fighters, related to three martyrs: martyr Aliasghar Fatehi, martyr Abbas Kiani, and martyr Gholamali Saeidifar.

He noted: These three books were compiled based on the memories of narrators and provided a suitable basis for children’s and young adult content, having been written, illustrated, and laid out in a joint collaboration with the Hamadan Art Center.

Seifikar stated that three other books have also been compiled in cooperation with the Ministry of Education on the topic of martyred students and educators, saying: These books include «I Am a Canteen», written by Mohsen Seifikar, which narrates the life story of a fighter from the perspective of a canteen, with Seyed Mohammad Hossein Shabiri as its illustrator.

He recalled: The next book, «Mrs. Maryam’s Children», is a biography of a student whose neighbor, Mrs. Maryam, had two martyred children.

This writer of Sacred Defense literature added: The third book, «New Raisin Cookie», is about the martyred educator Mohammad Ibrahim Momen from Nahavand’s martyrs and has been compiled for young adult readers.

He announced the printing and publication of the book «Pearl Palm» and said: This book, after many years, has been published about the life and conduct of the young martyr Aliasghar Samavat, the same martyr who painted the location of his martyrdom. It is authored by Alireza Akbari and Seyed Meysam Mousavian. This artistic martyr was a painter, calligrapher, poet, and eulogist.

Seifikar also announced the readiness of other books, adding: The book «A Man Named Mohammad Reza» is the first book written about the first commander of the Ansar al-Hussein unit’s demolition battalion, martyr Mohammad Reza Mazouei, and the book «Red Altar» introduces the martyred clerics of the province.

He stated that the book «Golnar», authored by Ms. Salibi and Seyed Meysam Mousavian and edited by Ms. Seifikar, which was unveiled last year, has reached its second print run and has been translated. He also said: The book «House of Deer» has been translated into English and is currently undergoing final preparations.
