According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), the eighteenth issue of the “Quest in the Treasure of the National Library of Iran” collection is dedicated to introducing one of the oldest works in the National Library in German; a book titled “Events of the Eastern Lands, Levant” written in the early 16th century AD and in Gothic script.

This work is one of the oldest German works in the National Library; a political history about the conquests of the Ottomans (Sultan Selim I) in the lands of Syria, Egypt, and Jerusalem.

The double-headed eagle emblem, a symbol of the Roman Empire, is also visible in this book, and the exact title in German is as follows:
