Sajjad Afsharian as Writer, Director, and Producer, Mohammad Mosavat as Writer, Actor, and Director: Laughter Theater’s Azar Program
According to Khabaronline News Agency, quoting the public relations of the complex, Laughter Theater will host eight plays at the beginning of Azar (November/December), directed by Sajjad Afsharian, Mohammad Mosavat, Mojtaba Jeddi, Amirhossein Javani, Ahmadreza Khani, Rozita Mirani, Arman Ghanbari, and Hossein Mirzaei.
The play “Back to Black,” written and directed by Sajjad Afsharian and starring Sajjad Afsharian, Nikoo Bostani, and Mehdi Zandieh, continues its run in Hall No. 1. “Back to Black” began its performances in Shahrivar 1404 (August/September 2025) and welcomes audiences in two slots, 18:30 and 21:00.
The play “Ghormeh Sabzi Recipe in Braille,” written, directed, and performed by Rozita Mirani, will be staged in Hall No. 2 at 18:00. The producers of this play are Pejman Teimourtash and Golareh Abbasi.
The play “Ghanbar Ali,” written and directed by Arman Ghanbari and starring Morteza Hosseinzadeh, is another play performed in Hall No. 2. Arman Ghanbari has written the text of this play based on Count de Gobineau’s novel “Ghanbar Ali.”
Additionally, the play “The Dead Man,” written and directed by Hossein Mirzaei and starring Nazila Soltani, Amirhossein Saremi, Shadan Koochaki, and Farbood Takloo, will be staged in Hall No. 2 at 21:00.
The play “Waiting for Godot,” written by Samuel Beckett, translated by Najaf Daryabandari, directed by Amirhossein Javani, and produced by Sajjad Afsharian, continues its run in Hall No. 3. The actors in this play are Hamid Rahimi, Amir Mohammad Rafikhah, Aref Abbasi, and Mojtaba Bayat.
The play “Breaking the Waves,” a free adaptation of Nina Raine’s play “Tribes,” written by Arjang Talebinejad, directed by Mojtaba Jeddi, and starring Negin Tahamtan, Abbas Jamali, Nazanin Heshmandar, Sheida Khaligh, Deniz Danesh Samadi, and Baset Rezaei, is performed in Hall No. 3.
The play “A Prisoner’s System in Denmark,” written, directed, and performed by Mohammad Mosavat, welcomes audiences every night at 23:00 in Hall No. 3.
In Hall No. 4, the play “Algebra and Probability,” written by Mohammad Mosavat, directed by Ahmadreza Khani, and starring Donya Rajabikhah, Mehrshad Nazari, and Ahmadreza Khani, welcomes audiences at 19:00.
