Mir Namira; The Era and Legacy of the Late Master Mirmostafa Alinasab
Thought Group: “Mir Namira”, selected as the special section book at the Jalal Al-Ahmad Festival, is authored by Mikaeil Azimi, with a preface by Farshad Momeni and an article by Ali Rezaqoli. This book is about one of the great figures in contemporary Iranian history. An individual who lived among us, whose conduct can inspire every free Iranian, committed to religious values, and striving for Iran’s honor, greatness, and development.
Conducting such studies is significant from several perspectives: Firstly, it allows us to stand on the shoulders of previous generations, prevents intergenerational discontinuity, and makes it possible to benefit from the accumulated knowledge of our predecessors. Such efforts are, in fact, a form of allegiance to one of the vital keys to development.
Secondly, each of us needs role models who are neither so unattainable as to diminish the motivation for “self-improvement,” nor so ordinary as to minimize the desire to learn. The late Master Mirmostafa Alinasab, by virtue of his lived experience, is one such person from the land of Iran.
The book “Mir Namira” is dedicated to the life and legacy of Mirmostafa Alinasab, demonstrating that his unique position as the intellectual architect of national economic management in the first decade after the victory of the Islamic Revolution played a decisive role in preserving national independence, adhering to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, and enhancing the quality of life for the vast majority of the country’s population.
