Members of the National Book Publishing Regulations Oversight Board Appointed

According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), quoting the Public Relations Department of the Cultural Affairs Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Masoud Pezeshkian, head of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, announced for implementation a single article titled “Confirmation of the Election of Members of the Book Publishing Regulations Oversight Boards,” which was approved at the Council’s 923rd session on November 3rd.

The single article titled “Confirmation of the Election of Members of the Book Publishing Regulations Oversight Boards,” approved at the 923rd session of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution on 13/08/1404 (November 3, 2025), is hereby announced for implementation as follows:

“Single Article – Pursuant to Articles 5 and 6 of the amended resolution on the objectives, policies, and regulations for book publishing (approved at the 660th session of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution on 24/01/1389 (April 13, 2010)); the members of the oversight boards for adult book publishing regulations and children’s and young adults’ book publishing regulations are determined and selected as follows:

1- Pursuant to Article 5; Messrs. Ali Akbar Ash’ari, Mohammad Ali Mahdavirad, Gholamreza Amirkhani, Masoud Azarbaijani, Ali Shojaeisaein, Mohammad Salgi, and Ms. Manijeh Armin are selected for membership in the oversight board for adult book publishing regulations.

2- Pursuant to Article 6; Messrs. Mohsen Chiniforoushan, Mohsen Parviz, Javad Mohaghegh, Mozaffar Salari, Alireza Sobhaninasab, Jafar Touzandehjani, and Ms. Mojgan Sheykhi are selected for membership in the oversight board for children’s and young adults’ book publishing regulations.”
