IRNA Yazdbook Film: A Biography of Meybod’s Luminaries

Yazd, IRNA – The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Yazd office, in collaboration with the Yazdbook cultural institution, has announced the production of a documentary film titled “A Biography of Meybod’s Luminaries.” This cinematic project aims to meticulously document the lives, intellectual contributions, and lasting legacies of eminent scholars, poets, artists, and influential figures originating from Meybod, one of the historic cities in Yazd province.

According to the head of IRNA Yazd, the initiative stems from a deep commitment to cultural preservation and the vital need to introduce these significant personalities to contemporary society and future generations. The film will delve into their individual journeys, their impact on various fields of knowledge and art, and their role in shaping the region’s rich cultural heritage.

The “Yazdbook” representative further explained that the project seeks to utilize the powerful medium of film to create an accessible and engaging record of these luminaries, moving beyond traditional written biographies.
