The book “Adaptation in Contemporary Theater” was published

According to Iran’s Book News Agency (IBNA), the book “Adaptation in Contemporary Theater” by Mohammad-Reza Gholipour has been published by Taraneh Publications and released to the book market. This book, spanning 300 pages, is available to enthusiasts for 180,000 Tomans.

In this work, Gholipour examines the topic of adaptation in theater from various perspectives, addressing its challenges and opportunities in contemporary theatrical productions. He elucidates new approaches to adaptation by analyzing prominent international and Iranian examples.

The author stated that the purpose of writing this book is to fill the existing gap in Persian academic resources in the field of theatrical adaptation. This work can be a valuable resource for students and researchers in arts and drama.

A launch ceremony for this book is scheduled to be held next week at Iran Artists’ House, with the presence of a group of professors and artists.
