Review and Critique of the Book ‘Old Snow and New Snow’ to be Held
According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA), and based on the public relations report of Khavaran Cultural Center, a series of literary sessions titled ‘In the Shelter of Books,’ aimed at strengthening reading culture, fostering dialogue between authors and audiences, and introducing new publications, will begin on Saturday, November 15th (24 Aban) at Khavaran Cultural Center.
In these sessions, which will continue until Thursday, November 19th (28 Aban), one of the prominent works by contemporary authors of the country will be reviewed and critiqued each day. The program schedule is as follows:
- Saturday, November 15th (24 Aban): Book ‘Yerha,’ by Samaneh Khakbazan
- Sunday, November 16th (25 Aban): Book ‘He,’ by Meysam Amiri
- Monday, November 17th (26 Aban): Book ‘White Hat,’ by Maliheh Zolfagharian
- Tuesday, November 18th (27 Aban): Book ‘Old Snow and New Snow,’ by Majid Gheysari
- Wednesday, November 19th (28 Aban): Book ‘Tall One,’ by Mehdi Ghazali
In each session, the authors will engage in an intimate conversation with Somayeh Jamali and Seyed Sajjad Mousavi, the program hosts, to analyze the creative process, their personal views on literature, and the challenges of writing. These programs will be held with the presence of literary critics and reading enthusiasts, providing an opportunity to hear new narratives from today’s generation of authors and discuss the inherent concepts within their works.
The ‘In the Shelter of Books’ sessions will be held from Saturday to Wednesday, every day at 10 AM at Khavaran Cultural Center.
Through this cultural event, Khavaran Cultural Center endeavors to create a space for companionship with words, exchange of ideas, and inspiration from the world of books; a place where audiences can find new life from books and engage in direct dialogue with authors.
