The concept of ‘theme’ in stories was explained and examined.

According to the correspondent of the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) in Arak, during this session, Mahdavi Hazaveh elaborated on the concept of “theme” in stories, stating: “In every work of art, the main message that the author intends to convey to the audience is called the theme. This theme can include concepts such as courage, perseverance, or enduring love. Story characters may resist this theme or embrace it openly, and their interaction with the theme will influence the course of the story’s events.”

Following the presentation of theoretical topics, participants read their short stories, and a constructive atmosphere of critique and dialogue formed between the writers and the workshop instructor. This interaction provided an opportunity to examine the strengths and weaknesses of the works and strengthen the analytical perspective of young writers.

The “Joy of Literature” workshop is being held with the aim of fostering literary creativity and strengthening storytelling skills among literature enthusiasts. In each session, one of the fundamental topics of writing, including characterization, point of view, and plot, is examined.

According to Mahdavi Hazaveh, these sessions have been well-received by writing enthusiasts and strive to provide a dynamic environment for learning and practicing writing.
