A section from the back cover of this book reads: “After a while, you realize you carry pieces of the night into your day, things you want to hide in the darkness. People’s pockets are one of those. Sometimes something falls out of the darkness that a person doesn’t want anyone to see… like this knife… In fact, women carry bigger pieces of the night with them. They hide more things, and that’s what makes them attractive; it’s the very nature of darkness!”
