Masterpiece of the Pious in Explaining the Principles of Religion
According to the Iran Book News Agency (IBNA); the book ‘Tuhfat al-Muttaqin fi Bayan Usul al-Din’, a work by Khidr ibn Muhammad Razi Hablehrudi, was published by Elmiyeh Publications.
Hablehrudi wrote this book on the principles of religion, organizing it into five sections: Monotheism, Justice, Prophethood, Imamate, and Resurrection. In presenting this work, he adopts the method of theologians and expresses his specific views throughout. Studying this concise book is beneficial for understanding the theological perspectives of Razi Hablehrudi.
This book was edited and researched based on a unique manuscript from the Shura Council Library, through the efforts of Mr. Ali Azizpourian Boroujerdi, Mohammad Ansari, and Seyyed Mohammad Naser Tabatabai. Hablehrudi’s ‘Tuhfat al-Muttaqin’ had previously been published by Elmiyeh Publications in the spring of 1398 Solar Hijri (2019/2020). The current print, with revisions to the previous editing and research, offers different content and appearance to the community of religious scholars.
Allameh Khidr ibn Muhammad Razi Hablehrudi was a renowned theologian of the 9th century Hijri and the key-keeper of the library of the shrine of Imam Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali (peace be upon him) in that era. Other works by Hablehrudi include ‘Al-Tawdih al-Anwar’, ‘Kashif al-Haqa’iq’, ‘Jami’ al-Daqa’iq’, ‘Al-Tahqiq al-Mubin’, ‘Jami’ al-Durar’, and ‘Miftah al-Ghurar’.
