According to Mobligh’s Thought and Culture website, Kafa’ami, in his two books Balad al-Amin and Misbah, emphasized saying ‘Bismillah’ at the beginning of the prayer. The text of this prayer, according to Sayyid ibn Tawus, is as follows:

Bismillah al-Nur, Bismillah Nur al-Nur, Bismillah Nur `ala Nur, Bismillah al-ladhi huwa mudabbir al-umur, Bismillah al-ladhi khalaqa al-nur min al-nur. Al-hamdu lillah al-ladhi khalaqa al-nur min al-nur wa anzala al-nur `ala al-Tur fi kitab masṭur fi raqq manshur bi-qadar maqdur `ala nabiyyin mahbur. Al-hamdu lillah al-ladhi huwa bi’l-`izz madhkur wa bi’l-fakhr mashhur wa `ala al-sarra’i wa al-darra’i mashkur. Wa ṣalla Allah `ala sayyidina Muhammadin wa alihi al-ṭahirin.

The Prayer of Light is a supplication that Lady Zahra (PBUH) learned from the Prophet (PBUH) and taught to Salman Farsi. Reciting this prayer is recommended for protection from the whispers of Satan and to gain God’s pleasure. Kafa’ami has mentioned the Prayer of Light as part of the post-morning prayer supplications. Sayyid ibn Tawus and others have referred to the Prayer of Light as a charm (hirz).
