Daughter of Fire Camp is entangled in linguistic and historical slips
The book ‘Daughter of Fire Camp’ by Bahman Mahajeri is a novel that presents a historical narrative of contemporary Iran. However, from the perspective of some critics, this novel suffers from linguistic weaknesses and historical inaccuracies in certain parts. Discrepancies between some events and historical documents, and the use of unconventional dialects in dialogues, are among these flaws. Nevertheless, this work is notable for addressing a less-explored period of contemporary history. Critics have suggested that the author should undertake a more thorough editing and revision of the work in subsequent editions.
