When Iran’s history is narrated in the heart of a street
Rasht Municipality Square these days witnesses the narration of an important part of Iran’s tumultuous history.
As part of the ‘Tehran Narrative Street’ project, the first phase began with the unveiling of a statue of ‘Professor Abdolhossein Zarrinkoub’. This project is designed to preserve and introduce the rich history and culture of Tehran to citizens and tourists. Professor Zarrinkoub, an enduring figure in contemporary Iranian literature and history, is known for valuable works such as ‘Two Centuries of Silence’ and ‘Step by Step Until Meeting God’.
City officials emphasized that this project will gradually expand to include other narratives of Tehran’s history and prominent figures.
